I love software, and I love using it to solve problems. But a custom build only ever helps one business at a time, and most owners don't want to deal with software at all. So I wanted something simple enough to plug in and forget. Mechanic, bakery, gym — every business needs reviews. They're how people find you, and how they decide to trust you. Replying matters too, but nobody running a business has time to answer every one, let alone read through them all to see what customers keep saying. That's the job I built Word Around to do.
Questions
Do you get access to my emails or my accounts?+
No. Only manager access on your Google Business Profile, which you grant and can revoke in one click. Nothing else.
Will this get my Google profile in trouble?+
No. Google bans review gating — filtering customers by whether they're happy before showing them the review link. This service doesn't do that and never will, because it can get a profile suspended.
Do the replies sound like a robot?+
They're written to match how you talk — we set the tone when you sign up, and you read every one before it goes up. An obviously automated reply is worse than no reply at all.
